Our Books in Ukrainian

Screenshot 2025-03-02 at 10.16.37.png

We strive to have our books available in languages that help children and families learn and become a part of the countries where they live, while maintaining their own cultural heritage.  Many Ukrainian children today are currently living around Europe and the world, so that they are safe from the Russian invasion.

Libraries that we work with struggle to keep enough material in Ukrainian on their shelves for the children that are hungry to learn, experience the world, and maintain their national language while attending school and living in other cultures and languages.

With your help on this project, we will:

1) Employ a native language Ukrainian translator and editor, paying them fair rates

2) Complete the graphic design for the hardback, paperback, and e-book in line with our current quality standards

3) Make the e-book globally available for free (or the lowest possible sale price).  We will continue to donate books to schools and libraries in line with our original mission.

Help us to help Ukrainian children around the world maintain their language and identity!

Translation Donation

Donate to help us translate our books to languages of children affected by war. These books are published and sold in Sweden through Nspir AB, and are donated to organizations, schools, and libraries in Sweden for children who have come to Sweden for their safety and survival.

By having translations in their native languages, it helps with literacy, both in maintaining their home language, and developing the skills to learn Swedish.

If the translation cost is met, we will make the e-book in the language available at no cost for download. All donations are used only for the direct expenses of translation and releasing the translations. Any excess funds are used to provide books to schools, libraries, and charitable organizations.

What language(s) do you want to support with your donation?

If you select more than one, we will divided your donation equally between them. If you don't make a selection, we will direct the funds at our discretion.

You can donate directly to us by Venmo (@Sarah-WillsCarlsson) or Swish (1234714853). Please indicate Ukraine on the notes. For credit card payments, fill in the amount that you would like to pay and we will send you a link to pay.

Thank you so much for helping us help children who are adjusting to a new life and language!

The total amount needed right now is an estimation for the translation, editing, and graphic design work for all four of our books.  Our Ukrainian translator lives in Kyiv.  Sarah and Katy donate their time and efforts.  If our donations exceed costs, we will purchase books for donations to schools, libraries, and non-profits with Ukrainian language needs.
